Went to Schuck's auto parts and bought powered internal radio antenna for about $15.00. It sort of looks like a thin black ruler with a little read light to it. Anyway, I hooked it up, turned on the radio, and immediately had to crank the sound down about 50%! AM comes in clear, and there's no more FM static. Best of all, I can conceal it near the rear deck window (on the inside), so it's invisible. Can't believe this took me so long to fix.

That's weird, I've always had AM & FM Radio come in CRYSTAL CLEAR in EVERY Viper I've ever owned. Is this a problem that I never knew about?

I could use something to boost FM.

Out here in the boonies, there's not much to listen to. I try to pick up a station out of Portland ME, but reception *****.

Any suggestions???

Hey Don Boston,

You are the perfect candidate for XM Satellite radio. Check out the previous posts about others' installs. I have one in my daily driver and love it.

Discussed it with the spouse few months back. While I like the idea, I'm just not interested in paying for radio....
