I was thinking of getting the hood for my Hemi, but it's not realy functional. I think it only lets air into the engine compartment. I want the intake to pull directly from the hood scoop like in the old days. I don't like this phony stuff. Then again, I guess more air in the engine compartment to keep temps down is pretty functional.

But I have to say, it looks great!

It is a 600. I am getting used to it, like Jdawg said...my old 97 had a lot more power (smoke), but this one will get some more hp/tq in the near future. Several folks have reminded me when I talk about missing the 97, this one will probably make it back from a race under it's own power.
Your right Andrew, even on a SRT10 Ram it does not function for intake air, only helps to cool the engine compartment. I usually don't get into poser mods, but this is as close as I will get to a SRT Ram

The SRT-10 hood scoop also lets in rain which doesn't do wonders for the looks of th aluminum intake or the brass fittings on my nitrous nozzles.

They come in primer. I got mine at Ringgold Dodge, their VCA price is either 10% or 15% over cost. 10% would put you around $540 plus tax. Work a body shop price with the nearest dealer to save shipping. They seem to be on back order off and on, so allow 3 or 4 weeks.
