I have only been screwed once in the viper world. It was from a used part in the Viper classified from HEMIDAYTONA. This was my only bad experience since my first viper in 95. So far, David Wilks has been very repitual/honest with me. Tim P.S. Frank, AKA Hemidaytona, you really shouldn't throw stones!!!!!

Lots of stories in the past. I did purchase something from Wilks some years back. An improved air cleaner housing for Gen I. At the time no one else was offering anything like it. After a prod or 2 Wilks delivered as stated. It was nothing great and barely measureable hp benefit. But, and this is a big but, he did not renig or screw me. I also heard all the stories that were very similar to what we hear about Hennessey now. Even jail talk etc. However, Wilks was never the big name that Hennessey became and his "got screwed" stories were of a much lesser magnitude. I do believe he enjoyed using customer cars in a way similar to Hennessey (that is the driving and not parting out portion).

David Wilks does not advertise on this board, nor does he post. People have had both positive and negative experiences with David. Safe to say, you can find people on both ends of the spectrum. Nobody disputes that David is very good with cars; but other issues overshadowed that skill.

I had the experience of having David work on my car one weekend while staying at my house and helping out on a photo shoot for Viper Quarterly. David was curtious and helpful the whole time.

Love him or hate him - keep it straight. I'll move this over to the Performance Area where it belongs.
