Hello everyone:

I am looking to do some mods to the RT but I do not want to touch the engine. Could you all help me? What are my options? How much do they increase the horsepower? How much does each one cost?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D

Thanks again

No engine touching huh? Well, not too sure but I figure you may get headers, catback, maybe a mod chip and some fine tuning. About other then that, I think that's about it...

If you have a real need for speed, you will want to touch your engine. If not, tubes/filters, headers, cats and cat back might get you 50 hp. Also look into the Roe Vec 2 when it comes out stand alone from his blower kit. :D :usa:

A nice set of VR-1's in 19" will lower your 1/4 mile time significantly.

If I weren't touching the engine, I'd start there.

Or there is always a supercharger which doesn't touch the internals of the engine _too_ much...

Assuming you're talking drag racing and not road, give Tom Welch a call for some NO2 or Larry Macedo. Run 10s without opening the motor.

Yeah....Tubes and an Nx System? I always felt the same way. I've done everything on and around the engine, but never went inside and I'm happy.
K&N & Tubes
Nx 150 shot
Vec 1 (Thanks Greg for the donation)
Sean Roe's Fan controler, hi flo cats
180 degree Therm
Already got short factory headers
Mopar exhaust
Line Loc is a real fun thing to have and easy install.

Huh? How is that?
I thought lower profile tires didn't hook as well as a 17" or 18" due to less sidewall flex.

Bolt on one of our NOS kits and WHAM....feel the instant asp kickin, thrown back in the seat, serious smile on the face acceleration. BTR Nitrous systems are without a doubt, the most horsepower you can gain for your investment dollar. The best part is that when not in use, no wear and tear on parts is happening, you have STOCK drivability and you can easily remove the system should you wish to cash in on your Viper investment one day.

We also recommend that you get rid of that "sewing machine/UPS truck" sound by adding a complete exhaust system. Your Viper is kind of like Arnold Schwarzenneger trying to do a fight scene while breathing through a soda straw!

The BOLT ON MODIFICATIONS that I have listed above are only a small portion of the performance enhancing items that we offer for your Viper. The addition of the (2) items above will not be waisted dollars should you wish to further enhance your Vipers performance in the future. There is nothing worse than purchasing an item and having to discard it and spend the same money again because the item became obsolete.

Check out our website and/or contact us for more information and even other Viper owners in your local area who have been using our products with 100% satisfaction for years.

Thanks in advance for your consideration!

Tom @ BTR definitely builds/distributes the best nitrous and nitrous/propane systems available for your Viper. He's currently pushing the envelope a bit further with an upgraded system soon to be released. I currently sell BTR systems and will install them as well if they are purchased through Tom or M2.

The best investment is learning how to manage the Vipers outstanding performance.

Skip Barber discounts their programs to VCA members. The Performance Driving 2 day school is discounted 20-25%. That is big for a driving school. All other advanced programs are discounted 10%.
