often thought that myself Tom,
Factor in the big buck hood, front fascia, motor/tranny, wheels, etc. and I don't think you would be that far off.....
In upcoming years think what small parts will be worth in the used market when not available from the dealer.
Scary thought, merry #$*&^%*&ing Xmas, haha.

Thats why any decent Viper should never go lower than
$30k - $35K. It should be worth that in parts.

Almost any car is worth more in parts than whole.
Even if you sold the parts at 40% of what the new pcs cost you will still make a very nice buck.
