does anyone know if since this is a big event, one would be required to have a rollcage if under 10 seconds?

Norwalk will be very liberal with the roll bar rules. They have automatically lowered the IHRA requirement for coupes to 11.00. 11.50 for RT/10
From 10.99 to 10.00 IHRA requires a roll bar and jacket.

Like NHRA, IHRA requires a cage, 5 point harness, neck collar, window net and jacket below 10.00.

In the past IHRA gives the tech cards to me. You fill them out and hand them to the staging lane personel. That is it!
If you have no bar and run 10,80s, and they ask how fast do you go, say 11.50. If you have a bar and run 9.80s, tell you have never been out of the 10s. There should be no problems unless your car has obvious safety issues.
