A hair dryer may help a little, if not, it should go away over time if it isnt too bad. dont get it too hot though! Plastics have a tendancy to want to regain their original shape, so it may work. if not, indent the other side to "even it out" and claim it is supposed to be like that...lol

I left something on my center console (right next to the parking brake) and i didn't realize it had a rivet type thing on the bottom of it and it left a pretty good indentation. Will this work itself out over time, and is there anything I can do to get it out?

Having cut mine for elbow space, I can add that the center console is 3/8" thick and made of three layers; mostly a fiberglass-type material (but somehow more brittle, you can score it and it breaks along the line) with a thin foam layer on top, followed by the vinyl grain stuff you see. The top two layers are perhaps 1/8", so if your depression is deeper, you've punctured the fiberglass, and it won't bounce back. You can take it off and push back up from underneath....
