Invo psi?

I just put my new Invo's on today and I have to say, I'm not thrilled so far. The car feels like it is all over place through corners, but especially at speed. Even running at high speed in a straight line, if you move the wheel at all, it seems to float around. I'm not talking about losing traction, but the car just doesn't feel as planted as it did with the PS2's I just took off.
I know the Invo's have a little softer sidewall, but it really feels disconcerting and I just don't feel stable. Some of it may be the sidewalls and some of it may just be the tread block depth. The PS2's that I took off were just about worn out, so there was NO tread flex at all. Now I have brand new tires with a lot (relatively) of tread depth and that could be contributing as well.
Before I jump to any conclusions, I wanted to ask the guys running Invo's what psi you are running on the street. I have seen some threads about the track, but I'm not going to generate the heat you would at the track. I'm running 32 lbs cold right now and was wondering if I needed to step that up to try to get a more controlled feeling.

Thanks for any input on this. I don;t want to shell out more money for PS2's after just buying these, but I just don't feel comfortable pushing it on these tires the way they are now.

I run mine at 32 and have no problems at all. Tires do have a break in period though. How long have you been using them?

With new tires i thought there was a certain coating or something like that which must be worn off before you can get to the goody part of the tire? Thought i read it here somewhere?

Perhaps Jon B or Luke can chime in?

I've heard that too, but this isn't a traction problem. The car just feels "floaty".

Mold release

May take a 100 or so to wear off. If not more.

Check your alignment on the car also.

Would the alignment be off by changing tires if it was fine with the old tires?
I did go up to 295's in the front, but it's the whole car that feels weird. The back seems to move around as well.

I always get an alignment when I change tires. The tire must be new with no uneven wear on them when getting an alignment. If the tires are worn "funny" when it is done, the alignment can be off too. This is why I always align with new tires.

Going to a wider front can also change the cars behavior. But what do I know, I was just trained my Hunter Machine on their alignment machines. ;)

Can't hurt to have it on the rack and checked.

NO complaints from my Invos either. If you changed front tire sizes, I'd say that's likely why it feels different to you.

The 295s do make a difference in feel. I had them for about 50 miles and went back to the 275s. Besides, the 295s profile on a 18x10 wheel will actually look bigger than the 345s in the rear.

Thanks guys. I took it out for a long drive today with some fun thrown in too. I'll see how they feel after little while and play with the pressure.
I'll try to get an alignment done as well. Anybody have any specs that are good for a street set-up, with some fast mountain runs thrown in? Or just have them set to the factory specs?
