iPOD Integration issues

I have an 06 coupe with the stock RBQ radio and the factory satellite radio option. I purchased a Mopar iPOD integration kit and also had to buy an adaptor harness for the satellite option toplug into the iPOD.

What happens is I lose the ability to use either the iPOD or the satellite when both are plugged in. If I plug either in alone they will work individually. No one seems to have an answer.

Anyone know about this??

what adapter harness did you buy? the Sat Radio should plug right into the iPod Controller in the spare connection slot, no other multiplexer should be needed, as it has one built in.

The adaptor is a part number 05191195AA. I would consider it an extension cable and not an adaptor. It has a male and female on it.

The multiplexer is built into the iPod box. I'd say you have a defective unit.
