Is 3M Paste Wax a Good Protectant?

I am about ready to have my '02 GTS detailed by Concours and they use 3M paste wax (at least in Richmond, Va). Is that okay? Will it yellow over time? Performed a search of the various forums but only really saw hits on the 3M bra. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Zaino sounds too involved and would prefer to leave the work to professionals (too busy with work to tackle the project myself).

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

i use the 3M liquid wax all the time, very good protection with only one coat, shines forever too. I put a lot of faith in a 3M product, I wouldnt worry. But you should check it out just to verify.

The 3M in the bottle is great stuff! I used their scratch remover with my variable speed buffer and it came out looking like a sheet of ice was laid on the car. I followed up with the 3M polish and it was impressive.

I know you guys will roll your eyes but since, I have switched to Zaino and it made a big difference in appearence. I am now a Zaino-Head...

Their scratch remover did nothing.
