Is DC listening to the concerns the SRT owners have expressed regarding the valve issue? I received my "letter" last week but it seems all is quiet on this board now about the issue. I have YET to see one response from DC, or to hear anything from them. Are we just expected to sign our letter and shut up? Have the repairs done on our brand new cars by someone who has never done the job before on a Viper?? Take their word for it that we have 500hp and all the torque after the repair.
Has anyone heard any word from DC or are they just hoping we will go away? I called them and they put my concerns on my file - BIG DEAL.
Come on DC, HOW ABOUT A BIT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE?????

"Whatever you say will be held against you in a court of law." There have said their piece with the $300 bribe. You won't hear anything ever!

I also have the valve problem. In the NorCal area we have a problem with qualified techs due to dealership changes, etc. I have talked to ISG and DC on several occasions with no positive results. Currently I am working with several other Vipers owners to resolve the situation in our region. We have been working on this problem for over 6 weeks. I suggest that you find a qualified tech in your region or outside your region to do the work because I seriouly doubt you will get the results from DC your are looking for. This is my take on the situation, it ***** but I believe we are left on our own to have the work done properly. Good luck and email me if you want to know further about my conversations with ISG and DC.

This is a sensitive problem for those who have the intake valve problem. I know!

Work with your local VCA officers to help define dealerships that have good Viper Tech's and dealerships that respect our cars and take care of them during service.

Our region(one of the largest) is one that has lost the known good Viper Techs and Viper friendly dealerships.

Several of our members are also in the same situation. Currently looking for an acceptable solution. I am optimistic because that is the only solution I will take.

There is no rush for corrective action. The motors are not being damaged and they are under warranty. Look for a good dealership. Those close(few hundred miles) to Woodhouse or Tator's Dodge are lucky.

I have asked DC about a qualified tech and they also "filed" that question about 2 weeks ago and said they would get back to me - when I wonder? When hell freezes over? So if the nearest qualified tech is somewhere in the US do you think they will pay to ship my car to them to repair it?
Strange that DC is remaining silent on the issue even though most SRT owners are repeat Viper buyers - this is my 3rd new Viper. You would think they would give a $hit about keeping us happy...giving us the car we paid for without all of the BS that is going along with it...

They are definitely listening. Stay tuned, as you will be hearing another "voice on the phone" shortly.

If they are going to go about it in a different way then they should say so in the "letter" instead of leaving us in suspense. They need to communicate with us! And what's with us having to sign a legal document for a car repair? I take it to mean that once they replace the valves they (DC) have done their duty and by me signing the letter I have agreed that the repair has been done correctly, leaving me to fend for myself to find out if I in fact have the performance I paid for and if not DC has no responsibility anymore as they have my signed letter. Is this why they want a signed legal document?

Yeah right, "stay tuned" to NOTHING, same old DC BS, they don't give a sh*t as usual! And as usual they are being defended by moderators, you wanna get DC's attention? It's called "CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT", you listening DC?

Ron,

Hard to understand your post when you are Viperless? A class action is the last resort and a lose-lose proposition.

Owners with the "intake valve" are very concerned about the replacement process. Which has been expressed within other threads.

DC seems to be listening. Viper HQ called me this morning. They understand our passion and concerns about our SRT10's. I am hopeful that we will find a solution that works for all parties.

We will get our car fixed properly(as good as or better) or not fixed period. No compromise on quality!

Now I feel we are getting the support needed, so why continue to complain when our concerns are being addressed.

If a proper fix is not delivered the go back to complaining. But NOT NOW!
