Is the ACR that different of a Car?????

I sold my 99 GTS a few months ago due to the economy. But, the economy never slowed down for me. I am thinking on buying a 00 ACR. Is there that much of a diffrence in the cars to warrant the price difference. In otherwords, is the car worth the extra cash. I am very fond of the cosmetics of the car, and wheels. Also, can the ride height be adjusted. I respect the judgement of you guys, I'am only 25 and, I dont know it all. Tony

I can't speak for the ACR folks...all I have is a plain-ole GTS. I have added a lot of performance mods (headers,exhaust,etc.)and they have really given the car a boost not seen in stock. I seem to recall an earlier thread on your question and there were some folks that felt the additional cost was not equal to the mods you were getting in the ACR. Might want to look it up. There are times I have wondered if I should have gotten an ACR...however,part of the fun in owning a Viper is modifying it and I wanted my Viper to look and perform as I dreamed it could.
ACR or plain-ole GTS...you can't go wrong either way!

I don't think it's worth it at all. If you're talking about dollars & cents....No Way. I've had a few Vipers and I couldn't warrant paying that much extra for an ACR. JMO.

Thanks for the comment on the car. I appreciate your taste in yellow. Unfortunately, my business is actually located in Houston and I spend a lot of my time there during the week...so,when I get home its family first...viper activities after. I do plan on getting to some of the meetings this coming year as the business needs should ease up. You mentioned "Babes". I have heard of the meetings at the BBQ spot but have not heard about "Babes"...can you fill me in?

We meet every 2nd Saturday of the Month at PaPa's BBQ located on NW Hgw between Loop 12 and I35. Normal meeting time is 7:00 PM, but we changed it to 6:00 PM during the winter months.
