is the Vortech FMU the same as the Paxton FMU unit?

Ab, you need to become a tuner with all the knowledge you're gaining from these boards. I'm starting to think I could be one just from reading all the posts to your questions. At first, I wondered why you didn't just go to a tuner but now I find all the info streaming in as interesting. If you put it all to good use, you should have one bad asp car there.

Good to See paxton/vortech keeps their websights error free, and informative. This statement leads you to believe a stock system works fine, yet another way has to be found to deliver extra fuel:

"Since the factory electronic controller can compensate for this increased air flow (it was not designed for supercharger use) another way has to be found to supply the necessary additional fuel."
