Is this a good car to buy?

I am a current turbo corvette owner I recently got the itch for a Viper. I do not want to spend alot of money I have to many toys just want another one cheap. I found a 93 red 65000 miles super clean car all stock it has sidewindows but no top the only problem is it has a previously salvaged title that showed up on carfax. owner is asking 22,ooo Is this a car that I will get stuck with when I get rid of it? I am not looking to make money on this.You all are the experts please give me your honest opinions.

What was the damage? Any documentation of repairs and service? How many owners?

The car was hit in the frnt it has had 3 owners

I would keep looking. You will have to spend a little more, but you will most likely be happier in the long run. When it comes to exotics, the vast majority do not want a car with a lot of stories, so you can expect to encounter a tough sale when you want to get rid of it. JMHO

Your resale will **** with that car, if that is what you are worried about. With those miles that car is probably worth only a little more than that with no salvage title anyway given todays market.

If that car is a 96, it should have the stripes on it. Check to see why it was repainted!
