Well, I was getting kinda tired of the ol' ashtray sitting there (nonsmoker), but what else could I do? The empty hole looked even worse, so ashtray it was...
BUT WAIT! Then George at MGW and MGW Viper Accessories came to the rescue! I welcomed the recent arrival of a form fitting brushed aluminum trim ring for the holder. WOW, what a difference!
So then I got to thinking, could you even fit a decent cup in here? Not really. 16 ounce bottles, no way. Cans? Maybe. Determined not to use it as a cupholder, lest my Vette buddies get a chuckle, I tried a few other options. They were all very good. For example, you could use it as a coin holder (extra credit if they are all Indiana quarters with the Indy car on the back):
Or you could use it to hold your sunglasses:
Maybe your cell phone:
Of course you want to keep that fine leather in perfect condition:
Maybe you need a place to put your stop watch on the way to the track:
Or maybe you need a place to put all the timeslips:
Better yet, all the pink slips from the guys that lost to you:
Maybe some good reading along the way:
Or perhaps something to remind you of your previous car...
And who can possibly resist some Twizzlers along the way?
Well, maybe the country club crowd needs a bit more. Cocktails anyone?
Of course, if you live in Overland Park, Kansas and drive a black SRT-10, it is always good to have the essentials close at hand for those times when you hear: "License, registration, and proof of insurance please..."
George, yet another AWESOME Viper product. Wish I had a few more cars so I could buy more of these things. Thanks for all of your great work!
