Here is my story.

My wife, our exchange student and I decided to take our dog for a walk today. As we are quickly making our way home (started to rain just a little) I hear an all to familiar sound. I proceed to glance to my right and what is it that I see? A yellow RT crusing with the top off! I am sure he was in a slight hurry like us to get that thing home.

Now keep in mind I see a Viper almost EVERY single day with my GTS, but it just never gets old to see another one in action! I almost rather everyone else drive a Viper just so I can see them all DAY!

Jeez I love these things!

My wife and I have been thinking about getting rid of some toys to buy that new Fisker Karma, but as I see another Viper in action I know it would just kill me to be Viperless for any amount of time!

Viper-Keep on keepin on!

Looks like a pretty cool car :2tu: The 50 mile electric range is a little weak, but it looks like it burns gas also. Still, pricey but nice! Have you guy's considered a Maserati?

My wife and I have talked about the Tesla and Fisker before but think we'll wait a generation or 3.

Recently had a similar experience. I was out in my Jeep getting ready to pull onto the highway. Then I see a gray & silver GTS coming toward me. My first reaction is WOW, just WOW ! I wanted to catch up to it to see it go through the twisties; but, no way in a Jeep.

I have the same car in the garage and have gotten used to seeing it day after day; but, seeing another one "in the wild" just brings back the feelings of those first weeks of ownership !

I'm betting that guys married to super models have the same problem.

Yesterday I took a ride with the wife in her car and I cruised through the Warnock Dodge Dealership which was closed just to see if they had anything interesting on the lot. All of the sudden I had a flashback to something that I almost totally forgot about. I guess it was about 8 or 10 years ago they had a VCA show there and I took my kids and went to check out the Vipers. I remember thinking that I probably would never own a Viper... Does anybody remember that event ?

Even after owning my car for a couple of years it never gets old for me either. I've probably posted 8 or 10 sightings since I joined the site.

Agreed with all of the above. It's always great to see another Viper on the road. I saw a very clean red SRT-10 coupe last week while driving on Edward Hines Drive; I was about to wave, but then remembered that I was in my Evo and not the Viper, so I would just look like another wannabe fanboy. :)

I do! There were a few Warnock Viper meets there. First one I remember going to was in 04', meeting Adel for the first time, showed me his gt2 and then followed us to 287 for a bit. Remember a black ACR on a dyno and a blue/white GTS doing burnouts with a red/gold Cobra. The second one, don't remember the year, but it was on the other side of the building. Saw my first Comp Coupe and got a ride in Jon's GTS.

My first "real-life" Viper experiance was seeing a Yellow RT (Which I believe is the one I may have seen the other day) at a small used dealer here in Muskegon, MI. I always wanted one since the day I heard of them (about 8 years old). But I was walking to the store to get something for my mom and seen it just sitting there!!! Then I fell in love! He wanted some 40K+ for one, and at about 14 years old I figured...... Something worth working towards. Saved every dollar I had for a long time, made sure I only purcahsed cars/motorcycles that would gain value, and sure enough about 8 years later I got my RT! Rebuilt it, sold it and purchased a clean GTS.

But still just LOVE to see one "in the wild" as someone here said. To be honest I am not a huge RT fan, but when you see them on the road they are just something wicked!

As far as the Fisker Karma goes it is a pretty sweet car. It is completly electric, but has a gas motor that it uses as a generator I read. The entire roof is a solar panel, and mainly recycled materials used in the build.

I have looked into Maserati's, but don't like the maintence them comes with. I like the Fisker because the motor is GM, but still affraid of the longevity on the unit. Another thing that concerns me is the company itself. Running off a 500 billion dollar loan from the government..... IDK about this seems fishy. Also they are a few months-years behind schedule soooo... Yeah! Maybe just stick with BMW's etc.

I've let my son drive my car a few times just so I can watch him go down the street!

HAHAHA, LMFAO!!! Love this..... I think most of us have had this happen... For me its the ONLY reason I am happy when my wife drives the Viper. I stand in the window waiting for her to come home........... And she calls me "***" for that. Also parking it at reasturants etc so I can see it from where I am. Keep in mind the point is to make sure the car doesn't get hit or damaged, but much more importantly to sneak some angled looks.....
