JonB: So what\'s the final result on ACR belts?

Jon--

I saw the team-tech belts--they are not good for me. I like to use the belts 100%, but don't really like the anti-sub belt for street driving.

It seems like the team-tech belts force you to use it.

Is there another fine option I could go with?

I have searched the archives, and am I right in saying that the current replacement is sub-par?

The RJS Belts meet SFI specs, but are certainly an inferior brand to MOMO or TEAM TECH or SPARCO or SCHROTH or SIMPSON etc

Any GOOD 5-pt belt requires that you use the anti-sub as a pert of the system.

You can attach the buckle to a lap belt and BYPASS the sub, but not a good idea. And then the buckle clunks on your sidesill or console. Ooops.

TeamTech warranty replacemnet system (FREE!) allows several variations, including the lap-mounted rotary system you seek (in effect a 4-pt belt) Or even a 6-pt. FREE to 1999 and 2000 ACR owners and 1998 GT-2 owners.
