So like many the gen 2 Viper GTS was their poster car as a child growing up and I wont bore anyone with a life sob story so Ill cut to the chase. I recently back in early October had the opportunity to purchase a twin turbo 97 gts from an individual who went thru a great loss in Asheville NC due to hurricane Helene. The car was completely submerged for at least a couple of hours but long story short I scored it for an amazing deal and flood vehicles are right up my alley so I without hesitation bought it sight unseen.
What I know about the car is its original color scheme is what is shown in the pics minus white stripes, but carfax is showing it was also affected by hurricane Katrina in 05 and between the years of early 06-07 it was painted blue with white stripes. This color remained until around 2015 is my guess and then was re-painted again to its original color w/white stripes. It has twin 76mm turbonetics turbos, an AEM infinity ecu, Kinesis multi-piece forged wheels.

Im in the process of tearing it down once again to bring it back to its original glory and really really would love to hear from previous owners or find any older pictures/evidence of its existance on the web. I just find it very odd that I cannot find any info on a TT 97 gts anywhere lol. People brag about these cars like mad.
