It will read about 15% high or when going at 60 mph it will display 69. Stay in the right lane if you follow the speedo or ignore it and have fun.

Why not drive with somebody in a car next to you to pace your speed. I would think that would be a simple way?

Sometimes I impress myself, who needs an edumacation!?

How does it feel? That's the real question. Would you do it again if you bought another Viper? I'd expect this to be great for seat of the pants feel. What's your impression?

Koop, no "hate" there. that's quite the accusation and hard to reconcile with the fact that i gave you useful info.

wee bit of sarcasm, maybe since transmissions are gear related and even more complex with ratios and effect than a differential.

btw....some of us are still waiting for the promised results of your drag racing and an active e-mail would actually help you when you're asking for info. no reason to hide it. You can also join up with the local AZ club sometime at one of the events

My 3.55 upgrade has been all it was advertised and more. I'd have to put it as #3 on the "to do" list after filters and smooth tubes. The 3.55 makes 5th and 6th usable on parkways or the freeway. Also, I've noticed the difference in street launches as far as being able to get of the line with minimal bog - just have to feather the throttle a little more to avoid excessive spin. In fact, about a week after the install I ran a similar Viper and smoked him almost solely on the ground I gained in the first two gears. I have yet to get a before/after ET, but I've heard a difference of .1 can be expected - that is probably so small that it can be explained aways by atmospheric/track conditions, but the seat of the pants feel is a definite improvement in my opinion.
