Welcome to the V10 club! I can answer one of your questions, namely that of engine breakin:
1. For first 200 miles, avoid full throttle, avoid constant speeds and long idling, max 2500 RPM. Use light throttle only when running RPMs up the 2500 max.
2. Change oil & filter.
3. For 200-400 miles, as step 1 except max 3500 RPM.
4. For 400-600 miles, as step 1 except max 4000 RPM.
5. For 600-800 miles, as step 1 except max 4500 RPM.
6. For 800-1000 miles, as step 1 except max 5000 RPM.
7. Change oil and filter. Congrats, you're now broken in! However, your car will continue to gain power for the next several thousand miles as the engine loosens up.
