Viper Owner
Here's an example of a viper for sale that isn't worth $30K. It was the first Viper I rode in when the previous owner was selling it two months ago for $33K. It has a salvaged title with front driver side reconstruction. The driverside control arms, hood and bumper had to be replaced. Everything 2nd gen about it is because those parts were destroyed in the accident. Every square foot of paint on this thing is either flaking or oversprayed. There is overspray everywhere, even on the interior armrests. It was owned by a redneck that painted it himself and also painted in the crooked stipes, and yes that is a Mustang wing on the back. The previous owner was so ghetto the engine bay had masking tape covering the PCV valve hole. Interior was abused too. The clutch pedal had to be pressed in a angle or else the car wouldn't start and he called this a "feature". Looks great in the picture but is terrible up close. It does have a Borla exhaust but that's the only thing going for it. I estimate $10K is needed to completely strip and repaint the whole thing.
Apparently it sold but now the next owner is selling it again after only a little over a month of ownership. I feel sorry for him but he should have looked it over more carefully. I hope the current owner is not on this board.
