Leaking fuel from gas cap

Is it common for 2nd gen vipers on a full tank of gas that if u accelerate hard some fuel comes out? I noticed this after the last full tank of gas i got....it seems to happen after I fill up and accelerate too hard....

Short answer is not normal. I drove 3 full tank Gen II's last week with no such problem. A
re you topping off tank, maybe over filling it? Is your cap OEM or an aftermarket such as a Stanz locking cap?

One time when I first got my GTS I took the gas cap off forgot to put it back on thinking when I closed the lid it was the gas cap.
So needless to say gas was coming out
Only happened 1 time

Happened to me a while back while autocrossing. Leak stayed under the aluminum cap but was wet underneath. Replaced the screw cap and all is well.

Replaced the inner cap and fixed the problem....easy enough
