Looked at a genII RT today for grins. Boy, they made some changes to the later models eh! Must be nice to have the push button openers ;)

But seriously, the ineriors looked better and seemed like it had a larger "entry" into the cars ??? I slid in much easier than my 96, maybe it's just me.

Didn't get to take it out, but i'm going to try to sometime on the weekend.

How are the 98+ RT's on wind noise (w/ windows up and hard top on) compared to the earlier cars?

I've owned a '95 RT and have driven in many GENII RT's as well. Huge difference in refinements and noise levels!

When I first got the '01, there were so many Gen I familiar features (both aesthetically and fuctionally) that I was very much at home with the new car. That said, the refinements were SO obvious that I constantly noticed the significant difference of the new vehicle.

To me, it seemed much easier to get in and out of than my current RT. Maybe the doors are longer?

The seats also weren't as "lumbary" if you know what I mean... seemed much smoother and thus clearing the "****" was much easier. Also felt roomier for some reason??
