LOOKING FOR SOME DRAG RADIAL TIRES.....

I NEED SOME NEW REAR TIRES FOR MY 97 GTS AND THOUGHT I WOULD GO WITH SOME DRAG RADIALS DOES ANYBODY MAKE THEM FOR THE VIPER. I DRAG RACE A FEW TIMES A YEAR AND ONLY PUT A COUPLE THOUSAND MILES A YEAR ON IT. WOULD DRAG RADIAL TIRES WORK GOOD ON THE STREET. THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

Nitto drag radials on front wheels (obviously mounted on the rear)is about as good as it gets for street radials. Your open road handling will suffer.

I've used BF Goodrich Drag Radials. The largest ones they make for the 17 inch wheel is 315's. They will fit on the stock wheel though although it looks a little funny. You definitely will get better straight line traction for drag racing but they are miserable (especially mounted on the stock wheel) for regular driving. They will definitely help your ET's though by improving your 60 foot time a lot.
