I want to replace original raised side viper rt/10 emblem/decal on both front fenders with chrome or silver instead of original black ones. I guess I could order from dodge silver ones from later model year 1998-1999 viper rt/10 unless someone knows who makes them in actual chrome?Text

No rear in Chrome available. Some people use the Chrome on the sides and silver on the back. I replaced the sides w/ chrome and left my back red. The most effective way to remove your old emblems from your car is to use waxed dental floss and a hair dryer. Be sure that you mark all four corners so that you can get the new emblem back in the same place. I used fine line painters mask to accomplish this. Once the old emblems are off be sure to clean the surface very well with rubbing alcohol. Then stick you new emblems down (Be carful you have one shot).

while your ordering lettering.
order a extra rear set and a front snake head and
upgrade your sidesills.

Unfortunately, since the Gen I and II cars are now phased out, the parts are going through the roof. Jim, the lettering alone for both sides totals about $100 from Chuck Tator. Buy them now while you can get them.

I think the car look's better without the front and side emblems. Cleaner look. People will know what it is without the writing.

Joe, No they will not know. I parked my Viper outside a local Pizzeria and the waitress asked me if it was a Mustang? Needless to say she DID NOT get a free ride.

Next day I ordered a "DODGE" windshield decal. Now... Try that Mustang once again....

Well, I guess you have something there. I too have had people ask what it is, mine has no markings other than the trunk emblem. The thing is, when those people ask "what is it", and I tell them it's a Dodge Viper, the next thing they say is, "what's that?"

My mother (77 years old) used to say; "Pearls for Pigs"
I quess for these guys its all the same if it is a Rustang, Vette or Dodge. They would not know the difference anyway.
On the other hand our neighbours 4 year old knows the Viper!
