Malfunction Indicator Lamp

I have a 2003 SRT Viper and the Malfunction Indicator Lamp has come on and stays lit. Idling is kind of rough also.(not sure if it's related) I checked to make sure the gas cap is tight (clicks) Any ideas what might cause this?

You need to get the code go to an AutoZone if you don't have a reader they do it for free.
