I have a stock radio that I want to put in my 94 RT. The problem is that I don't have the mounting brackets that go on the side of the radio, the brackets have little ears that are used to bolt the front of the radio into the dash. I'm going to make some brackets but I need to know the measurement from the back plane of the radio to the plane of the bracket ears. It looks like it's going to be about 5 3/4" but if someone had a radio that they could measure it would be a great help.

The brackets are somewhat standard. I would go to your Car Audio store and ask the installer if you could buy some that were not being used. Just a thought.
