I'm getting ready to order my billet rims and I have a few questions about the offset. I will be using this guide.

When I am measuring for the "Mounting Surface to first obstruction frame side" do I need to have the suspension lifted up as if it were sitting on level ground so it's not "sagging"?

I have Dave's Big Brake Kit with 14" rotors all the way around. I would like the most possible dish in the front and the back. I am thinking about going with 19/20, or 20/20 rims. If you have this same setup you might be able to help me out quicker :)

I'll be using this guide for the rear. (But the front guide should be the same for the back)

Thanks!

Someone sells billet wheels still? I though the last was the Forgeline VR1s.

You're having them custom made?

Yes Ted, Any billet wheel company can and will custom make the wheels to your offset. I'm not going with the usual Viper billet wheel company because all those rims have been done before. You've seen one set of rims, you've seen them all. So I will be getting billet wheels from a company that sells different style wheels for different kinds of vehicles. They are not "One off" wheels, just a custom offset which is standard with any purchase of any billet wheels. :)

All you have to do is give them your bolt pattern and offset, and you're good to go.

I can go outside and measure the TIRE offset on my GTS (billet VR1s put the tires about level with the body) and compare that to the stock ACR Tire offset on my 2000 ACR (about 1" inside the body). The lighweight brakes are OK for stock type wheels although the stock all iron rotors need thin spacers to fit the stock wheels.

For the type of rim edge you want I'd suggest making a template that shows the location of the front rear calipers in comparison to the wheel mounting surface so that they get it right the first time they cut the wheels. A mistake would be cost prohibitive.

I'm in the process of getting my measurements, but if anyone already has them please let me know. My rims are ready to be made, just waiting on my measurements.

Does anyone have the specs for SRT-10 Calipers? The wheel company said they could use those to help me out.
