Minnesota Vipers at ROUTE 2002: AN AMERICAN ROAD TRIP

Route 2002 was a unique test-drive event sponsored by local Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge Dealers. 300,000 invitations were sent out to specially selected people. There are 6 test drive courses (2 off-road), games, prizes and kids activities.

As guests of Dodge at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds, we got to test drive their newest models, and take some Jeeps on a fairly serious off road course...a great time was had by all...More pics HERE

I just want to say thanks to Dodge for treating us very very well all day! It was alot of fun meeting the other Viper owners I hadn't met yet. The 10 Vipers that showed up yesterday was the largest Viper gathering EVER in the Mpls area at one time. Hopefully it will keep getting bigger and bigger. See you all soon!

Thanks to Gerald (Snakebitten), for letting me know about this event in the Twin Cites, I was really glad to be a part of it. Dodge really went all out for this event for everyone that came out to see it. I would recommend all of you checking with your local Dodge / Chrysler / Plymouth dealer and finding out when this Route 2002 event is coming to your City. I know they're going to Chicago this coming weekend, and 2 cities in Ohio after that. Don't pass up the opportunity to drive the Jeeps on the Off road course........Really cool !! Oh yeah, All of your friends are invited too.

Thanks for the pics. I/we got last minute word about the event and I wasn't able to come up with a trailer to make it to the show. I was headed that way anyway. It would have made a nice break in my trip. How was the rest of the event? Did you get any photos of the test drive stuff?
