My 97 Smoothie hood has \"cutouts\"?

My 97 Smoothie hood has "cutouts" for the NACA duct and fender vents under it.

Is this normal? Did they use a GTS hood and just smooth it or something?

Please help, I need to know if this is the orginal hood for my 97!

Yes, it is normal. My 96 R/T also has the same cut outs. I believe they put it all together on the 98 R/T except for the first one(red I believe).
