Re: My \"idiot\" light went out...what happened?
I just got the o2 sims last week you are asking about and yes it did reduce the surging (car bucking back and forth like a wild horse). The surging I believe only happens without cats, so if you have cats on its not an issue. Before it was quite bad in 1st going 10-20 MPH basically I could not drive at a constant speed. I re-adjusted the throttle bodies which helped a lot then got the o2 sims which then reduced the minimal surging that was left to nothing. I would not have got them except for one of my rear o2 sensors were bad at $90 to replace it I decided to go with the sims. It remains to be seen if it fixes the check engine light because it did come on, then it went off after two short trips, maybe a learning process? I did not check the codes with AutoTap yet so it may not have been the sims.
