My new 05/06 SRT10

Well I'm back in the saddle. After a year without a Viper, I had to scratch the Viper itch again, so began shopping. The timing was right to find an 05 with my color and let the dealer add the 06 features I like plus a few other goodies.

After talking to John Gastman at Roanoke, I realized he was willing to help me modify the car the way I wanted it. John had a black 05 with 6 miles on it that Roanoke modified with these features: stripes applied with factory paint and templates, comp coupe cam and oilpan, Quaife, 3.45 gears, Corsa track exhaust, and 5 spoke wheels. This car with mods was about the same price as a stripped 06 vert from other dealers, but without all the goodies. What a deal!!!

In addition, I purchased a hardtop from Jeff Lemke that is in process. He will paint it Viper black and ship to John to add the stripes. It's great to have a car that is so easily modded.

Sooo...meet my new 05/06 vert. Pictures do not show the beauty of this car. I could not be happier with it.

Thanks for the comments, gents. I will get more pics up when the hard top arrives. In the meantime, the weather in Houston has been awesome for verts the last few days - perfect timing to break in this baby. See ya later, to the street I go!!

If you don't mind, let me know when your hardtop comes in. Would love to see it in person. Trying to save up for the entire body package from Jeff Lemke. Maybe we can have a get-together sometimes. murci - Thanks, I'll let you know when it comes in. I think Jeff's top design looks great and will be a fun alternative on the few really cold, sunny days we have around here. Usually, I drive in the cold with the top down and heater on, but sometimes it's a little nippy for that.
