My new (to me) \'94 (pics)

Hi all,

After lurking for a while, I finally made the leap. A new to me '94 red R/T, just under 7,000 miles, and joined the VCA. Much thanks to Bill Pemberton at Woodhouse for making this as painless as possible for a long distance purchase, and to Chuck Tator, who made me feel like family. He really explained how the red paint is more aerodynamic, making the red cars faster than the other colors!

Here are a couple of pics of the new arrival in the new heated bay. I also included a pic of the wife's garage bay, since I thought the floor paint scheme was a little different (excuse the dirty floor). It's my first time at this, so I hope the pics come out.

Great looking car and welcome. Of course, you should never listen to car salesmen. They lied to you about Red. Everyone knows Yellow is fastest in all manner.

Just Race Deck flooring. I was having a tough time keeping the white tiles clean until I discovered the new "magic eraser" from Mr. Clean. Unbelievably easy to get them clean now.

Thanks for the welcome.

Awesome. Congratulations. My first Viper was a red '94 RT/10 and it was a fantastic vehicle. It is destined to be a classic!

So you have a Viper and your wife has a riding lawn mower? Good deal! You'll learn that Chuck Tator is the Viper Wizard and everything he says is 100% correct...including the fact that red is fastest! Very cool Shelby Cobra frontend hanging on your wall. Welcome to the party! :nana:

Hi Scott,

Great looking Road Runner.
The "magic eraser" by Mr. Clean. Just wet it and use it like a sponge. I bought it at the supermarket, and customer service at Race Deck recommended it. I also used it on walls to remove my 3-year old daughter's artwork!

It worked great on the race deck flooring, but because of the diamond plate-type texture, they didn't last long; I probably cleaned about 15-20 square feet before they started to disintegrate. No harm to the tiles. Cost about a buck each and comes in boxes of two or four.

Thanks for the welcome,
~Craig

Thanks Craig,
I have "Circle Trac" flooring, so it may not tear up the "sponge" as quick...I'll have to check that stuff out...
Cheers,
