All,

Anyone else out there have a window channel break. It is the rubber strip behine the black panel that houses the push button for the door popper.

There are little plastic rivits and all of them sheered off, and now the rubber strip is hanging.

I called my Viper Tech, and he is ordering the piece..

Mark you don't have to do that.

Mine has come up on both sides.... I know exactly what your talking about..

Here is how you fix it..

1. take the pc completely OUT..

2. Go buy some 3M Weatherstripping adhesive ($5.00)

3.. Put the weatherstipping on where the tiny rivets are/were
I put mine ALL along it..
4. Roll window all the way down
5. Place peice in place with hands and wind window back up, this holds it in place.
6. Keep window up for a day and you'll be back to new..
7. Get out and enjoy your supercharged snake

Total time.. 5 minutes.
Total Cost... $5.00

No problem Mark,

I would love to go to VOI, but economy is ******* mfg side right now and dropping 5k for two (expenses) sounds a little steep..

Ditto to Gerald. My passenger side strip froze to the window at the Mid-Ohio viperdays event and came loose when I rolled the window down. The little plastic "****" are for alignmnent. The OEM attachment was some sort of adhesive. I took it to my dealer and they offered to order the piece. I opted for the 3M adhesive treatment in the parking lot and was on the road in 15 minutes. If the piece comes loose again they will order a replacement. I have had no problems as yet.
