I have the NAV/CD/Satellite option on my car which by the way, I could have foregone the NAV. The manual talks about the CD changer and switching to the next disc. The buttons have Disc 1-5. I have tried to add other discs, but it seems like it holds just 1 disc. Does anybody know if it holds 1 disc or 5? If it holds more than 1 disc, how do you get them in? Thanks.

If you have a 2006 with the factory RB-1 Nav/Sirius option installed, the RB-1 just has capacity for one Nav DVD or one music CD (unless you have installed a Chrysler 6-disc changer in the trunk or some alternate location).

It is a 2008. It does not seem like it will even hold more than 1 disc whether it is NAV or a CD. I tired to put one in after another and it was like hitting a wall. I must be doing something wrong.

If it is the RB1 which I think it is, it only holds one CD at a time. The ipod intergration kit is the answer.

I also have a 2008 with NAV/RB-1. It is the same unit I mentioned above and again, unless you add a disc changer, your only option is to either listen to a music cd or remove it, insert the Navtech data DVD and use the NAV system. (You can of course use the radio and the Sirius radio with the NAV DVD inserted.)

Yep, it just holds the single Nav. disk.. Anyone know if the Ipod kit will be a factory option in 2009?

The days of CD changers are coming to an end, just as "standard" cassette players did in the late 80's-early 90's... There is no need for one.. Everything is MP3...

My 2006 has the factory RBQ, which DOES hold 6 - disks... I am looking to swap it out for the RB1, and just use the IPod kit for music..

Does it work with just an ipod or can you use any MP3? My other cars have a input jack where you just use a connector cord that plugs into the existing radio.

It will control an ipod directly through the RB1 but it does have a jack to play any MP3 also.
