need a window switch for gts 1996

Hi this is my 1st post.
I need to see if anybody knows where to get a new passenger side window switch.
mine does not work and the dealer does not sell it by itself. I would need to buy a complete set with ciguarette lighter and boot for shifter ($400.00) ?
is there a switch that would work from an other car?

Unless sdomething has recently changed, the window switch is available independantly as I bought one not that long ago. Is a combination driver and passenger side window switch. Check with Chuck Tator of Tator's Dodge. When I find the part number, I'll post.

If you can't find one, I might be able to scroung up a single side.

I bought one for my 01 GTS from Chuck Tator (914-763-3146). Each window switch is sold seperately and changes out real easy, 5 minutes. The cost was relatively cheap, something like $20, I was told it was actually the same switch as in a caravan.

I don't there is any differance in the switches between the years. Definitely call Chuck and he can at least tell you if it is the same switch, as well as help you get it fast.

FYI
The '96-'97 windows were a 2 gang rocker switch out of an old K-car design with Viper buttons. The newer cars use 2 single gang switches side by side and they are the DCX corporate single gang. So they are exactly the same as the door lock switches on the minivan and whatever else uses a single gang switch.
