The outboard sections have no support stems on them like the stock flex tubes did. Do they just hang loose? Is that too much leveraged force on the heads? I will say that for all the griping I did trying to squeeze into grossly contorted positions during the install I was rewarded with precise fits of each component. Way to go Belanger.

One more question. I have Random Substrate Cats going on also. The end that slips over the outboard header pipes have no slots as one would see on a pipe requiring a band clamp. Does this connection not need a clamp or should I slot the cat ends and use a clamp?

To make up the difference between the RT cats and the header pipe, I had a engineered collar/sleeve made. It was then welded into place. Didn't slot the cat ends or use clamp bands.

The outboard sections did just hang there, check after a couple of days of use check that there is no slack in the header bolts and re-tighten
