Guys,
I just installed my new chrome aluminum pedal covers from http://www.mach3accessories.com/

they are awesome .. installing any pedal covers is a pain in the
bass.. but they are going nowhere!! And no drilling!! It comes with 3 bands and double sided tape. I didn't even use the double sided tape for keeping it in place but a spacer to make install easier.
it has 2 pieces a base that is very very secure to the accelerator pedal and the the nice chrome pedal cover.
great quality and a non skid holes keep you foot in place.
I will post my pic hopefully Saturday afternoon if I can figure
out how. I am get my pics back on photo cd.

The pedals I choice are RAZRP47

Go and look at them.. I am glad that I gave them a shot they worked out very well!!
Pics to follow

ZAF pedals have Viper-specific brackets, and install in a snap. Great look and feel. Mine have not come loose in 5 years.

H$ll yes they were a pain!!! The pedals themselves wouldn't have been that bad to put on if they were out of the car, but to squeeze your A$$ down into the foot pedal area and get them put on where they matched eachother was rough! I'd do it all over again though, the look is amazing over the stock pedals! No ricer looks, just BADA$$ race pedal look!

Brackets???? I have drilled and mounted pedal covers in the past. Then I know they won't move. I need to see some pictures of a bracket setup.

JohnB, these are not ZAF, how much are they since they are Viper specific?

jimandela, what is holding these pedal covers in place?

Jerry-

The pedals are held on by brackets on the back side of the pedal. The bracket goes on the back side of the stock pedal and the ZAF pedal goes on the front side of the stock pedal. Then you have four screws, one in each corner you tighten down. The gas pedal has tape on the back that you push onto the stock gas pedal. Here's a pic of my ZAF pedals. Jim, post your pics. The Indians are getting restless!

Matt,
will have pics on Sat. afternoon.

jerry,
these pedals have 2 bands and 1 squeeze band (total 3)
and double back tape. The tape i used as a spacer between the
bracket and original pedal so slipping the cover over the bracket
was easier. But no need to drill with this setup! extremely secure. As Matt mentioned worst part is putting your head up under the dash.

Pics on Sat.

I actually looked at Walmart and a couple of Auto places, too, and nothing would have fit. I agree, $150 is way high, but like everything else on this car, what else are you going to do?

Everyone,
Just wanted to make it clear that the pedals were a "diamond in the rough find" I just put pedals in a search engine and found them from a company in California. I am here in Buffalo, NY
and have no affiliation with them, I make nothing off the sales.
Just, a very happy customer.
They fit and probably many other pedals even from Wal-Mart will fit too... but these don't seem to be cheaply made. The company that sold them to me that no one has ever complained about the quality of the pedals.

For install keep one thing in mind be patient. Take your time, take breaks during the install (as described above, not too comfortable under the dash). Also read the directions.
Here a few tips I learned from mine:

1. For clutch and brake pedal do not remove all the screws. Just one bottom screw is enough open up the other 3 and slip them over, line them up, install last screw.. no biggy.

2. For accelerator, I cleaned it first with rubbing alcohol.
(no reason just wanted it clean)
then keep in mind base, and cover. Put tape on base only and use as "spacer" place base over stock pedal. Use the squeeze band to make it snug. then try cover line it up with bottom of stock pedal.
Now remove cover install bands make lower band as tight as possible. And upper band snug but not extremely tight.
The reason. you have to slip the cover over top of the base.
now, make sure top right screw is in and the 2 bottom screws are in with the small spacers. Then remove top left screw.
Place top left nut under the cover (may have to slightly bend base to get it in) then slide pedal cover over base install screw. Now line up cover and tighten.

Hope this helps alittle...pics NEXT week due to K-mart's error
did not ship photo cd

Also I found 1 more "diamond in the rough" will be a week or so
before i can share that one!!!
good luck

Years ago, I bought pedals similar to those shown on the link for my Twin Turbo Z from Steve Millen in Costa Mesa, CA. I have used them in all 4 of my Vipers. After you master the installation learning curve, they are easy to install. I like these better than those I see on most Vipers because the lower left corner of the gas pedal ends closer to the brake pedal. Also the brake (and clutch) pedal(s) are larger so the spacing between all the pedals is reduced. Once you become used to this, heel and toe braking and downshifting are simple.

You can also adjust the throttle linkage at the manifold bracket to ensure that the when you have the brake pedal depressed, the gas pedal is even with the brake pedal to further improve the heel and toe action.

You need practice as sometimes you end up pressing both the gas and brake when you don't intend to. Also, if you wear larger shoes and people with larger feet may have trouble.
