That would be nice but to get Bernie Ecklestone and his group to show up might be a stretch. He doesnt even care for Indy now.

“We are being asked to make approximately $150 million in taxpayer funding available"

Tom Freeman, spokesman for the county's Economic Development Agency.

Instead of using taxpayer funds how about the county eliminate all red tape and just sign off on everything and let the private enterprise build what they want.

"A membership club for upwards of 500 high-end car owners, who'd pay $18,000 a year for benefits that include parking spaces in the 800-to-1,000-car, climate-controlled garage "

Now, that's what I'd call a BF garage !!!

I used to work for a guy who's trying to build a track, not that one though. The land is in the Antelope Valley area by the Poppy reserve park.I've seen the plans, artist renderings and it's going to be the nicest permenant road course in socal bar none. State of the art with garages, suites and real seating areas. Oh, and he's paying for it out of pocket.
