New smooth trunk top on my white/blue 96 RT

Just received and installed my 3pc smooth trunk top from Jeff Lemke. I could not begin to say enough great things about it. Fit and finish are excellent. Took it for a quick drive and no annoying creaks or wind noises. Tonights project is to fit the windows and more pics. The jury is out on whether to stripe it or not. Neither the factory hard top or sport bar have stripes. Hopefully pics will be in the next post or so,,be patient.

DEFINITELY Take the Stripes to the next level....TO me the partial RT/10 stripes look like stickers....The GTS FULL stripes look more real and complete...DEFINITELY will take that car to the next level! Really HOT either way though

Wow. That is ****. The website is right...that's the way the RT-10 should have come from the factory.

It would be nice if they are able to do a version that has a double bubble (even if it means losing the foldability action) and having the back end finish off the same way (ie infront of the sports bar rather than ontop of it)

Definately stripe it, i got my three piece top delivered yesterday from Jeff and its going on the car this weekend with silver metallic stripes. But mine is a Gen II and i got the functional scoop. I cannot wait to see how it looks

The top looks great.

I can't tell from the pictures, but I would be concerned that if you stripe it, the seams for the 3 piece top would be right where the edges of the stripes should be which might look funny.

OK, herein lies the problem with striping it. I have a 5 1/2" stripe with a 1/4" beauty stripe next to it. The seams line up with the 1/4" stripe, so I would lose them. And if I move everthing in a little it would line up with the hood and trunk stripes. Leaves me something to think about.

It would be tough to spot. I say run the stripes the edge of the inner panel, then the beauty stripe !/4 in on the outer panels.

That is an AWESOME looking top, striping it would make it look complete. How much head room did you drop with this, can you still get a helmet on?

Never had the bubble top, but it is the same as the soft top, but no give. My hair touches the top so I dont think a helmet is a option unless your are shorter or drop the seat.

After careful measuring the seams are where the beauty stripe should be. I think if I just let the seam act as the stripe thru the top and only put the beauty stripe on the sport bar,,might look good.

Getting a helmet on is going to be tough. If a helmet is a must, so is a seat lowering kit.
