Thnx, for all the positive comments gentlemen.. My goal is and has always been quite simple, build the best components possible for our Viper's! With the introduction of the new SRT Viper 5, I felt the need to build the best header program possible to compliment SRT's efforts. By raising the bar of our engineering and quality level at BBG we should hopefully catch SRT and their Italian conterparts attention at Ferrari, so they can see how the dedication of a small American company such as BBG can step up to the plate and be a beneifit for their brands future performance developement.

Our new Header program is engineered to compliment the Viper's cylinder head exhaust ports and produce maximum HP and TRQ in N/A race & street engine builds.. Ferrai 150, Audi A8, Porsche GT-3, Austin Martin V12, Lamborghani quality yet fabricated to handle the abuse and power levels that our V10's deliver.. These headers are the real deal and will be a must have for the serious race teams, ALMS endurance race series, mile cars, drag strip and street snakes who believe in no compromise, quality first and plain just want to out perform the competition!

"High Performance Viper Parts Built for the Viper Nation by a Viper Owner!

Wow, nice work. I need to make some time and get by your shop to check these out.

Looks like the perfect set up for anybody with a Comp Coupe and a Gen 4 motor upgrade.

Keep the cool stuff coming,

Hey Toddy,

How do these differ from the BBG ACRX headers I have? Is or will the power curve be different?

Thanks,

Question on the O2 sensor placement - in the first pic, it looks like the O2 **** is on the collector, but in the second pic, it looks like the **** is on the primary. I'm assuming you tested each to see how happy the O2 sensor was about it, but which one will make the cut for final production? Or do you get the option?

Steve M,

Glad you took the time to inspect our Proto-type.. Since 6 months of developement has gone into our New Header Program (with many hours of Flow Bench testing utilizing our BBG Viper race cylinder heads, cylinder bore sizes, higher compression ratios, camshafts with higher valve lift & longer durations, broader power bands to maximize performance *7500 plus rpm's and fitment) we thought it necessary to data log several downstream locations of the 02 sensors to truly develope the best header program possible for each custom application from Street to Competition..

Yes "What makes the massive V-10 Happy" specific to application..:usa:

Thanks for your observation.

Stop in anytime George, it's been awhile.. Yes it'll be exciting times this year working with race teams & owner's to enhance their engine programs from mild to wild. With the new G5 Viper about to debut and the G4 conversion kits (mechanical camshafts and JTech controllers) now avalaible, engine builders will now be able to utilize our header program to build the most powerful Viper Engines to hit the tracks..! We have invested the time and the resources to develope what we believe will achieve new standards, our BBG Race Headers..:usa:

See ya soon...

One more question: do you source your collectors from Burns, or are those made in house? Either way, they look top notch, and I really like the v-band connections.

Steve M,

Hand Fabricated Inhouse, custom built to spec utilizing exact approach radius's to maximize primary length's, accomdate primary size, best collector lengths to relieve pressure while maintaining required back pressure to achieve best scavage characteristics, a true tuned system..! This is why we decided to engineer our Viper Race Headers from a clean slate.:usa:

Thanks for the comparison, but we couldn't afford to hit or miss with a big manufacturer so we stayed inhouse utilizizing our cylinder head knowledge and yes our short but very extensive 3 years of learned header experience.. Giving ourselves total flexibilty to make changes on the fly, expand on learned gains and to be perfeclty frank, not being stunt by guys that know more than us...

Please take my comparison as a compliment to the quality of your work...IMO, Burns makes some really, really nice stuff, so to be mistaken for something that came from them should only be taken as praise.

Wow. These look amazing. Too bad that I only see Gen 5 / Gen 4. I would love to see how these impact my heads/cam Gen III. What's the target peak power RPM for the length headers?

345bspinnin,

How about taking it to the next level, Gen 3 block with a Gen 4 head / intake conversion with high CR, nasty camshaft, ultra light weight triple disc race clutch kit, race prepped TR-6060, race diff's and ooh yeah a set of our BBG "Super Long Tube Race Headers"..:usa: This is the type of engine programs that really spark our interests (750 HP to 1000 HP levels all motor n/a)

Steve M,

I'm in agreement, Burns is Top Notch and considered probably the best in the Industry.. I've strived for that quality for sure, so thanks for giving our products a serious look over!! Many hours have gone into what your seeing and believe me when I say, wait till you see the finished product, it's a real beast! I'm currently fabricating the first production header as we speak (304 SS)..:2tu:

Again thnx!

Seriously? I simply wanted to know if you were planning to make a set for Gen III heads. Your response was that I should swap out to Gen IV heads, nasty camshaft, race clutch, trans, and diff? I am sorry that my measly 650+whp Gen III on stock block/clutch/diff is not the type of engine program that sparks your interest.

A simple yes/no would have sufficed. I could also do without your patronizing demeanor.

345s bspinnin,

My appologies, in no way was I talking down Gen 3 power and do not know the extent of your perforamance upgrades.. to the contrary I started my business on a Gen 3 platform. I was just merly talking about some new directions that Viper engine builders are headed and thought you might appreciate it is all.. I'm totally kool with World Challenge GT-3 spec'd Comp Coupes and have built high compression, big cammed G3 street cars also, which produce fantastic hp and trq numbers, all fast Viper's. We currently have solid G3 programs avaliable, so please take no offense and except my appologies if misunderstood or taken out of context.. Yes Gen 3 is on the horizon, but not today.. G5/G4 are first on the fixture.. Again my appologies, I hope we're good and lighten up a bit, I know I get a little mechanical at times too, Viper stuff should be fun, right:2tu:

That being said, I focusued on the newer style cylinder heads for many various reason and again with all due respect these new engine configurations are making serious hp gains.. and truly spark my interest..
