New Viper in the garage!!!!

My new 01 GTS/ACR has arrived!!! Can't get the grin off of my face. I've got a bunch of people that I need to thank. Many of you guys have helped me just by making your posts available for guys like me to research. So thanks to all of you.

Gary Almond is the man!!! Not only did he help me with the delivery, but he spent some of his time showing me around my new car. Many thanks for everything Gary. I would gladly recommend you to anyone and everyone I know who needs a transport. I've got your number in my cellphone and you'll be the first person I call in the future.

Keith Laxson, Viper Tech, out of Dallas. He was recommended to me by a bunch of guys on this site. It was a pleasure talking to Keith and I'm thankful that he made the time to look over my Viper. From talking to Keith and a few others, he is working towards opening a shop in the Dallas area. I have no doubt that he will be successful in his ventures. Anyone who talks to the guy knows what a passion he has for cars.

I'll be joining VCA soon and I promise my threads won't all be long and drawn out like this one. Well, I'm off to go sit in my car while it's parked in the garage and wait for the salt to wash off the streets. I'll post some pics once we get some decent weather.

Congrats on your new snake. The next OH VCA meeting is March 19th, 12:00 at Quaker Steak and Lube in the Polaris area. If the weather isn't nice I'm sure most guys won't bring their cars but it is always good to get together and talk.

Let the smiles begin! Just remember to keep it pointed straight when the salt lets you out enough to punch it (otherwise that back end can come around and surprise you). Too many new owners have gotten too eager too soon.

You're right on about Gary Almond. What a terrific guy to deliver your snake. I'm sure you got a great orientation and you can be sure that nothing bad happened in transit.

It was great meeting you and being able to deliver your first Viper! Although it was tough pulling me away from San Diego to return to the freezing rainy weather, it was all worth it to see your face when the back door of the trailer was opened!

I'm hoping that I can make it out to Quaker Steak and Lube in March. Hopefully the weather improves so I'll have more excusses to drive my Viper.
