Newbie can\'t play at Viper Days w/out top?????

In looking at the Viper Days site, it appears that I can't play with my stock 95 rt/10 since it doesn't have a roll cage or hard top installed. Is this true? How does a guy with an rt/10 get hands-on advice, etc. if I can't attend the event?

Also, what kind of fun would I have if I don't bring the snake? Recommendations for a guy who hasn't attended any of the Viper Days events, but wants a few laps around the track.... Thanks, and what else goes on at Viper Days??? I plan on attending the one at Thunder Hill in March. Thanks in advance!

There MAY be hardtops for rent from some of the vendors. That's your best bet OR speak with your regional officers and perhaps borrow one from another club member.

If you end up attending, most folks will give you a ride - ask some of the folks in the white group or better yet, talk to Courtney or Skip at the event.

Please be patient with Skip and Courtney, as they have had a family issue recently and are juggling many balls.

Without a doubt, you need to attend a Viper Days event...there is nothing like it. You should be able to arrange a top without too much problem...just ask Ms. Courtney.

Check with your local VCA to see if they can help...including any possible "safety course/driving school" subsidy (for first-timers) that they might offer at Viper Days...if you are in OUR Region, we certainly can arrange same !!!

Looks like I can get the Autoform rollbar for far less than the hard top. Maybe I can get it shipped and installed in the next few weeks. Any feedback from those of you with the Autoform rollbar? Thanks guys and gals!

Why not consider getting a hardtop, e.g., the Lemke (sp?) smooth hardtop? Then you can use that often, as desired, separate from just track considerations.
