I am running an NX nitrous system and the instructions say to use a plug that is two to three steps colder than stock. The problem I am having is that according to my local parts store and Champion (OEM) the stock plug is the coldest one that will work in the my 97 GTS. Does anyone know from personal experience which plugs work best? Also which wires hold up best. Thanks in advance for your help.

For running nitrous in my '96, I use the Champion RC10YC4 spark plugs which are colder than stock. I also just switched to TaylorVertex 409 plug wires as my Borla headers melted the ends on the 'Mopar Performance' plug wires.
