Nitrous systems

I'm looking at a nitrous system for my SRT-10 anybody out there use one?
Any feedback good ,bad or etc.

Who did the install for you and do you know if it can be
done by yourself also what kit was used.

Joe the key to nos is tuning


Anyone can put a kit on but anyone can blow up a motor in 1 spraying of nos as well. Vos did the install and have a big tool that is in my opinion 100000% needed to tune the car safely a mustang dyno with a wide band. The results are insane and the work was better than i hoped for thay also made cust carbon fiber gauge pads and did my vec2. He surprised me with powder coating and polishing my plenum.

His shop is 100% on the money. The right people and right tools.

How do you drive such a monster? When do you cut in the boost? That is, do you boost only in certain gears? Things happen fast with Nitrous so how do you shift? Give us the particulars.

Its set to work with my vec 2. It goes on at 3000 rps and suts off at 5000 rps.

with stock gears
1 short shift 1st at 4000
2 shift 2nd at 4500
3 shift 3 at 5000
4 no need already made my point

Since I got kicked off the track without nos I havent had time to really see the best shift points are for quickest ets.

I gotta say its the most insane ride that I have ever been on.
