...and before everyone lights up a torch, I already tried to post this in the Northern Cali section and the site wouldn't let me...

Anyway, I've been in contact with the local VCA chapter (Maurice is the man!) and so far we haven't been able to find a Gen III or Gen IV with a seat lowering kit that I can "test fit". I need to be absolutely certain about my comfort in the car before I pull the trigger on a purchase.

Please PM me or post up if you can help out a guy who'd love to become a Viper brother...

Only VCA members can post in that section.
You might try to ask Maurice if the place that is near you that works on Vipers might know of someone too? That might be your best bet.

Fast Viper Dan's generous offer will help some, but there is a bit of difference between the Gen IIs and Gen IIIs, so hopefully a couple of guys will show up. Good group in your area of the Country and definitely a Club you want to join the minute you get your Snake.

Thanks to all, and Dan in particular. I'm set on a Gen III or IV; I have a 1998 project car in my garage that's starting to have all the little annoying age-related problems (headlight motors, weatherstripping, blah, blah...) and that's influencing me to choose a more recent Viper, probably '06 or '08.

GTS-R 001, I'd be happy to lend an extra pair of hands for your kit install. Let me know if this is an upcoming project!
