The Super Car Challange will be running at all NSCA events in 04. Go to www.nsca-racing.com to get a copy of the full 04 schedule. National Trail last year was the first in the series and it's where the wife sealed my buying her a Viper. Best damn thing I did except marrying her. I'll attend all of the NSCA events in 04, hope to see everyone there. 1Tony1, I think Mike R. is going to attend one or two.

Hello Gentlemen. I too am looking forward to this NSCA event. I will likely only attend the two in Maryland.


I own a 1999 Corvette with some modifications and am running low 11s. Gonna be tough for me to fit in either 11.99 or 10.99 without making a few changes.
I mostly bracket race and this will be my first try at heads-up.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Pat yes I had a long conversation with Ned on the phone on rules. They still are not finalized but I think I will fit into either of the two classes (will have to change wheels if I run in the 11.99 class though).

He is very excited about he series. He said he has spoken to some viper owners about the rules as well.

Would I be correct to presume that he means you?

Edgar, no I haven't spoken to Ned, just trying to get a feeling to car count. Could be a great series if more prople knew about it.

Well I have tried to motivate the Corvette community as best I could. I hope to be at the two Maryland races with a few of my friends.

I've made a few short mentions here hopefully to stir interest. I just sent BIGBADCJ a PM as he is close to New Orleans and I hope to see him and others the weekend of March 20th. I'd like to see a good turn out. At National Trail (03) Tom Welch beat Mike St. Eve, then he ran another Viper and didn't spray, really showed great sportsmanship. This CAN be a great series. I'll attend all of the races in 2004. Hope to see you in Maryland.
