I'm having Eibach's/caps put on my '98 RT/10. After reading all (I think) threads/posts on the subject, I've decided to go with the stock specs.
My question is:
Right now I've got the V700's w/305 section width on the front. If I have the alignment done as is, then put 275's back on front (which I'm gonna do), how much will that change the alignment (if at all)? Should I have the alignment done with the 275's on it? (car is out of town and may be difficult to do) Is there a "happy medium" for if/when I change back and forth between the V700's and the BFG KDW's?
Thanks guys.

Not much, I hope. I don't do many track days, and would only put the V700's back on if I did. I may not even put 'em back on for a track day. I'm sure it would be best to do alignment with the BFG 275 on, but not sure if Tony's got a set he could put on for that.
Anybody interested in a set of 18" V700's, never tracked, about 3000miles on 'em??:D

Exactly, but also, the 275 Kumhos are small to begin with. I would leave the 305 in place. It's better to have a wide tire up front, especially with the Tail of the Dragon upcoming.....................:2tu:

Stock alignment *****. Easy to drive but way too much push. Something like agressive street or mild track will make a world of difference. Might be a little antsy on the road but wll feel like its on rails in a corner. GTS Bruce

Since I'm going to need an alignment very soon, what would be the spec's for the "aggressive street"?

What I am using: Front and rear stock caster. Front toe zerro, rear toe in 1/16 to 1/8 total. Camber rear 1/2 deg neg. Front 3/4 deg neg. Might consider going to 1 deg neg front camber( I will go 1 deg neg next time, have no unusual wear at neg 3/4 deg) and more toward 1/8 toe in total rear. Can feel a little antsy in a straight line but will really take a set going through a corner. GTS Bruce
