Hello,
can someone tell me wich Protocol/Communicating Type the SRT10 use with the ODBII diagnosis ?
Someone knows Scan Tools (no DRBIII) from the After-Sales or Who-Sales market to show actual errors and error delete funktion and also actual values represented.
Has anyone an error code table with explanations ?

I use two different Actron scan tools...one has freezeframe. Both read generic "P"codes...and both can erase codes if desired.

The tables in the SRT Service Manuals give full explanations.

Hope that this helps.

Thought I'd bring this back up, I have basically the same question - what protocol does the 2003-2006 SRT-10 use for OBD2?

I'm looking at purchasing a device to integrate the OBD data with my racing data acquisition system. The device is compatible with the following protocols:
J1850VPW
J1850PWM
ISO9141-2
KWP2000 (ISO14230-4)

and I'm wondering if one of those is in use for my 2004 Dodge.

Thanks in advance!

Gen3 uses ISO for SAE diagnostics and SCI for reprogramming.

Gen4 uses CAN for SAE diagnostics and SCI for reprogramming.

VPW is the GM protocol, PWM is the Ford protocol.
