off topic corvette fuel injection

I know this isnt exactly a viper question, but being as a lot of people on here own a lot of different cars, thought i would give it shot. Does anyone know where i can get the fuel injection unit from a 1961 corvette 283/315 fixed that does a good job?

I had a black 61 Vette with a 283/315. That was a long time ago. As I recall it was a Rochester mechanical FI system. The only problem that I remember was one time when it wouldn't run properly except at WOT. The problem was the "cranking signal valve", a little thing that looked like a vacuum diaphragm thing. Other than that tiny bit of info, I can't help you.
